Picking Up & Late Fees

You may pay the remaining balance of their stay upon pickup except on Sundays. We try not to collect payment on Sundays so these stays should be paid in full at drop off.

A staff member will review your pet’s stay with you at pick up. Please look over your pet’s items to assure all belongings are there.

If you decide to pick your dog up early from their stay, please give a 48 hours notice. If not you will be charged for the night you leave. We understand there are emergencies and this can be discussed with the staff on a case by case basis.

A $25 late pickup fee will be charged for every 30 minutes your dog is picked up late from daycare, not to exceed $50.

If your dog is not picked up by 1 hour after closing, your dog will be boarded for the night and you can pickup the next morning. Your account will be charged a boarding fee in addition to the $50 late pickup fee.

Daycare Half Day: Dogs not picked up before the 5 hours expire will be upgraded to the All Day Play the Day Away Package.

What do I need to bring for my pet’s stay?

We are all inclusive and can provide everything necessary for your pet’s stay this includes food, bowls, beds, and blankets.

Customers are encouraged to bring their pet’s own food to avoid any stomach issues with their dog. Please bring all food and treats in a resealable bag or container. If a customer chooses not to bring food we will charge $1.00 per day for food.

We have plenty of beds and blankets here to keep your dog comfortable. We recommend not bringing any blankets, beds, or toys from home because if your pet has an accident we do not have the capability of washing them prior to your pet departing.

Any item you bring for your pet’s stay must be labeled with your pet’s name.

Please leave all bowls at home.

What if there is an emergency with my pet while my pet is visiting?

We request two backup contacts to make sure we are able to reach someone. The first is a secondary contact, such as a spouse or someone else living in the home. The other is someone local to Ocala that would be available to assist with your pets in case of emergency. Please choose someone who won’t be traveling with you. Should we be unable to contact you or your emergency contacts our next step would be to contact your preferred veterinarian. Thanks to these steps we feel confident that we can handle any emergency if needed.
Cuddle Bugs Pet Resort works with Fox Creek Animal Hospital if we are unable to bring your pet to your veterinarian. They are located at 7651 SW State Rd 200 Suite #306, Ocala, FL 34476. If your pet needs to visit Fox Creek, they will be happy to do a follow up consult with you when you get home.
If it is after hours, we will take your pet to UF Pet Emergency Treatment Services, located at 3200 SW 27th Ave, Ocala, FL 34474.
If your vet is located in Ocala, and it is a non-emergency, we will take your pet to their vet to be seen. We will always call and consult with you before taking your pet to the vet for non-emergency visit.
